FLORENCE, Ala. - Middle Tennessee fell in the midweek matchup against the North Alabama Lions, 2-5 on Tuesday.
Middle Tennessee (15-17) let up an early lead in the first to the Lions (10-20) for a 4-0 deficit heading into the second frame. Ethan Imbimbo came in relief and worked for a season high 5.2 innings, striking out 13 hitters only allowing one run.
The Blue Raiders couldn't get anything going on offense with just one hit in the first six innings. However, in the seventh, the Blue Crew got on the board with Matt Wolfe hitting a leadoff double then coming around to score, and Eston Snider hitting an RBI triple to put the score at 2-5 at the stretch.
