MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee's Blue Raiders are set to compete in the Music City Challenge this weekend in Nashville.

The team is coming off the Penn Relays, where only a select group of distance runners participated. The meet featured a new program record in the women's 4x1500-meter relay and a podium finish by Allan Kiplagat in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase.

The Blue Raiders are aiming for another strong performance in what will serve as a final tune-up before the conference championships. With the postseason competition approaching, the Music City Challenge offers a key opportunity for athletes to showcase their abilities.

The meet is scheduled to begin Friday at 10 a.m., with the first event featuring a Blue Raider—the long jump—set for 1:30 p.m.

Hosting the Conference USA Outdoor Championships
