FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee women's golf team completed the opening day of the Mason Rudolph Championship in Franklin, Tenn., sitting in 15^th place after shooting a 303 on the day.

Isabella Johnson once again led the Blue Raiders in the first round, carding a two-over-par 73, followed by Caroline Pardue and Abbie Lee, who both tallied a 75 (+4) to sit tied for 57^th. The three tied for the team lead with two birdies tapped in.

Ella Manley and Jillian Bowman followed behind with a nine-over 80 and thirteen-over-par 84, respectively. The two will look to battle back hard over the next two rounds to continue to climb the leaderboard.

The team will tee off Saturday for round two beginning at 9:20 a.m. on hole 10, paired with ULM and Lipscomb.
