Blue Raiders split the weekend after dropping match two to Kennesaw State

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee Volleyball dropped a tough four-set battle to Kennesaw State in their second matchup. The set scores were as follows: 13-25, 33-31, 22-25, 18-25.
The story of the match was at the service line, where Kennesaw State out-served Middle Tennessee 16 aces to three. The Blue Raiders were led offensively by Gabbrielle Clinkscale with a career-high 15 kills. Raegan Durbin tallied 13 kills, Logan Carr and Michaela Dlouhá both contributed six kills. Caroline Macander distributed the Blue Raiders offense, notching 37 assists on the match.
Middle Tennessee out-blocked Kennesaw State with nine Blue Raider blocks to six Owl blocks. Dlouhá led the Blue Raiders at the net with six total blocks, a tied season high for the junior middle blocker. Three Blue Raiders contributed double-digit defensive matches, Isil Yilmaz leading the way with 14 digs, Macander with 12 and Durbin with 10, both garnering double-doubles.
