MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee set to open the 2025-26 season at the Argent Financial Classic hosted by LA Tech at Squire Creek Country Club in Choudrant, La.

THE FIELD
The 2025 Argent Financial Classic features a 17-team field that includes Houston, Jax State, Lamar, LA Tech, Memphis, Middle Tennessee, Nicholls, North Texas, Rice, South Alabama, Southern Miss, Troy, UAB, Louisiana, ULM, UTSA and WKU, along with individuals from LSU.
BLUE RAIDER NOTES
» Middle Tennessee opens its season in Choudrant, La. at Squire Creek Country Club for the fourth consecutive season.
» The Blue Raiders return six players from last year's squad in redshirt senior Carter Maneth, senior Luke Perkins, redshirt junior Jake Hopper, and sophomores Oliver Baker, Charlie Bell and Owen Queener.
» MTSU welcomes five newcomers in redshirt sophomore Connor Henry and freshmen Maddox Crowder, Will Pinson, Cooper Solberg and Colgin Youssi.
» Head Coach Mark McEntire enters his eighth season at the helm in 2025-26.
COACH'S COMMENTS
"I'm really looking forward to getting the season underway," said Head Coach Mark McEntire. "We've added some new faces to the lineup, and I'm excited to see them compete this week in Louisiana. Squire Creek is a first-class venue — the course is always in excellent condition and it's a great field to open the year against."
