Blue Raiders Finish Third at Military City Collegiate

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders finished third at the Military City Collegiate following the final round Sunday at TPC San Antonio's Canyons Course. Middle Tennessee carded a final-round 24-over-par 312 to finish the three-round event at 22-over-par 886.
UTSA claimed the team title with a three-round total of 17-over-par 881, while UTRGV finished second at 21-over-par 885. Middle Tennessee finished just one stroke behind UTRGV, with Abilene Christian rounding out the top four at 27-over-par 891.
Individually, Connor Henry led the Blue Raiders, finishing fourth at 1-over-par 217 after rounds of 73, 69 and 75. Jake Hopper followed with a top-10 finish, tying for 10th at 5-over-par 221, while Maddox Crowder tied for 11th at 6-over-par 222 despite a challenging final round.
UTSA's Joshua Hong earned individual medalist honors with a three-round total of 1-under-par 215. Thomas Buisson of Abilene Christian and Arth Sinha of UT Arlington tied for second at even-par 216.
Next up, the Blue Raiders will compete in the Louisiana Classics hosted by Louisiana on Mar. 10-11 (Tuesday-Wednesday) in Lafayette, La.
The Lineup
• Connor Henry led Middle Tennessee, finishing fourth at 1-over-par 217 after posting rounds of 73, 69 and 75.
• Jake Hopper recorded a top-10 finish, tying for 10th at 5-over-par 221 with rounds of 77, 70 and 74.
• Maddox Crowder tied for 11th at 6-over-par 222 after rounds of 71, 69 and 82.
• Owen Queener tied for 45th at 15-over-par 231 following rounds of 77, 73 and 81.
• Carter Maneth also tied for 45th at 15-over-par 231 with rounds of 72, 76 and 83.
Individuals
• Oliver Baker tied for 24th at 9-over-par 225 after shooting rounds of 72, 78 and 75.
• Charlie Bell tied for 38th at 13-over-par 229 with rounds of 76, 69 and 84.
• Cooper Solberg finished 63rd at 25-over-par 241 after carding rounds of 81, 74 and 86.

"It was a tough day today, but it was a great learning opportunity for our team," said Head Coach Mark McEntire. "I'm proud of the way we put ourselves in contention with a young group, and I'm excited about the week ahead and getting back out there in a couple of weeks. Connor, Jake and Maddox had great tournaments, and we just need to keep getting better."
