Blue Raiders fall in first contest with Flames

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee Softball (12-11, 3-1 CUSA) dropped its first contest against Liberty (9-15, 2-2 CUSA) by a score of 10-0 in five innings at the Blue Raider Softball Field.
Jana Want led the Blue Raiders at the plate tonight, going 2-for-3 with a double and accounting for two of the three Middle Tennessee hits, Adaeze Nwogbo knocking the third hit for the Blue Raiders.
Braelyn Hall got the start in the circle for Middle Tennessee, striking out four in 3.1 innings of work and picking up the loss. Elle Hildreth tossed 0.2 innings of relief before Mary Martinez entered the game to close out a scoreless and hitless fifth inning.

- 0: The Blue Raiders did not record a defensive error tonight, marking their seventh game of the season doing so.
- 5: Jana Want extended her hitting streak to five games after her two tonight against the Flames.
