Honors: 2015 – Named the most improved corner following spring drills.
2015: Played in 12 games and had four starts … Finished season with a career-best 28 tackles, including 2.5 TFLs, two interceptions and three pass breakups … Had two tackles and returned a blocked field goal 63 yards for a touchdown against Jackson State … Collected his first career interception at WKU … Turned in three tackles and a pass breakup against FIU … Did not play at LA Tech due to an injury … Started at FAU in place of Jeremy Cutrer and responded with five tackles, an interception and a pass breakup … Had seven stops to go with a TFL and a pass breakup in win over UTSA … Registered five solo tackles in bowl game against WMU.
2014: Played in eight games and had one start … Finished year with four tackles … Played 95 total snaps with a season-high 24 at ODU … Missed first two games of the season with a hamstring injury … Made his Blue Raider debut in win over WKU … Had two stops at ODU … Missed the Marshall and UAB games with a hamstring … Returned against BYU … Had a solo stop at UTEP.
Coffeyville CC: Rated a three-star recruit by Rivals.com and 247Sports.com … Earned second team all-Jayhawk Conference honors in 2013 after tallying 53 tackles, 3.0 TFLs, two interceptions, five pass breakups, two forced fumbles and two blocked kicks … In September 2013, Howard was named NJCAA National Defensive Player of the Week and Jayhawk Conference/Verizon Wireless Defensive Player of the Week after returning an interception for a 59-yard touchdown and also a fumble recovery he returned 35 yards for another score.
