2003 (Junior): First baseman who struggled in his limited opportunities ... Had one hit in 15 at-bats for the season ... Went 0-for-2 with a run and a walk in first start of season, in first game against Jacksonville State ... Played in seven other games before drawing next start in first game at Arkansas State ... Drew start as the designated hitter on Friday at ASU, singling in three at-bats ... Entered the Saturday game at ASU as the DH, going 0-for-1 ... Went 0-for-3 in first start of the year at first base, against Belmont.
