High School: Earned all-region and all-area honors for Hillsboro County (one of top counties in the state) ... Rushed for 1,175 yards in just seven games his senior year for Chamberlain High School, while collecting a total of 18 touchdowns (rushing, receiving, and returns) ... Started at cornerback as a freshman, sophomore, and junior before moving to tailback his senior year ... Had six interceptions his junior season to go along with five blocked field goals ... Also competed on the track team.
