High School: A four-year starter and lettermen at Fort Walton Beach High School (first in school history to accomplish this feat) ... First team all-state as a junior and second team all-state as a senior ... Also earned first team all-district and all-area, while being tapped first team all-Northwest Florida by the Daily News ... Collected 129 tackles, four sacks, four fumble recoveries and an interception in leading Fort Walton to a 9-3 record in 2004 ... Led team in tackles for three straight years and finished as the school's career leader in stops with 403 ... Played for coach Mike Owens ... Danny Wuerffel is a graduate of Fort Walton Beach.
