2005: Competed in nine of 11 games and earned two starts ... Was second on the team in rushing with 312 yards on 92 carries and two touchdowns ... Also had four receptions on the year ... Played in his first collegiate game against North Texas in week two and had four carries for eight yards ... Tallied five carries for 14 yards versus Akron and ran twice for four yards in win over Vanderbilt ... Had his breakout game in win at FAU by rushing 22 times and gaining 97 yards ... Also scored on a 19-yard touchdown run ... Ran for 52 yards on 12 attempts and collected a touchdown on a three-yard run against ULL ... Did not make the trip to Troy due to personal reasons ... Recorded his first 100-yard rushing game when he carried a career-best 30 times for 105 yards at FIU.
2004: Did not play in any games, but did travel with the team.
2003: Sat out the year due to NCAA academic requirements.
2002: Attended Motlow State Community College for one semester before enrolling at Middle Tennessee in January of 2003.
High School: Rushed for over 2,000 yards in back-to-back seasons for Coach Gary Rankin and Riverdale ... Led the Warriors to a perfect 15-0 record and a state championship in 2001 ... Earned Mr. Football Back of the Year honors and the Daily News Journal Athlete of the Year in 2001 ... Selected All-State, All-Midstate, and All-Region his senior year ... In the state championship game against Hendersonville, King rushed 29 times for 129 yards to finish the year with 2,647 rushing yards ... Against Ooltewah in the semifinal game, King had 25 carries for 227 yards.
