Noteworthy: Is No. 2 on the depth chart entering fall camp behind Tanaka Scott at right end ... Expected to be a leader ... Made the move from defensive end to outside linebacker (Bandit) in the spring of 2000, but went back to end this past spring ... A very intense competitor who plays hard on every snap ... Was used mainly in nickel situations in 1999 as a defensive end ... Is very aggressive and has the personality you look for in a player.
2000: Saw action in nine games, including five as a starter ... Finished with 18 tackles on the season and one was for loss of yards ... Had a season-high four tackles in games against Illinois, Murray State and Louisiana Tech ... Played 252 snaps for an average of 28 per game ... Saw a season-high 41 snaps at Maryland.
1999: Played in all 11 games and started once (vs UCF) ... Finished the year with 14 tackles, including one for loss of yards and one sack ...
