Fall: Finished the fall season with a 6-5 singles record and 5-4 doubles record & Highest finish was in the round of 32 at the UTSA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional, Oct. 19-23, defeating Memphis Cedric De Zutter, 7-6 (7-3), 6-3 in the round of 64. Spring: Named All-Sun Belt Second Team in singles and doubles & Finished the year at 19-16 in singles and 17-9 in doubles & Had key victories over Rys Johnson (No. 44 Vanderbilt), Daniel Hoffman (Yale) and Gerhar Gruindelingh (South Alabama) & Lost just two matches when teaming with David Fox in doubles & had a 8-2 win over San Diego s Victor Pugliese and Ciaran Fitzgerald & Against No. 33 Northwestern and No. 34 NC State, Fox and Lang were 2-0 with a 16-8 combined score.
2011-12 (Freshman)
Spring: Joined MT program in the spring & Made an immediate impact in both singles and doubles, earning a spot on the All-Sun Belt Team for doubles & Finished the season with a 18-9 singles record, including a 15-8 dual mark & Registered a 15-10 doubles record with a 13-9 dual mark & Played primarily in the No. 3 position for singles and No. 2 doubles with partner Ben Davis & Won first collegiate singles match against No. 37 Vanderbilt s Joe Dorn in the No. 4 spot & First collegiate doubles win came against the No. 51 tandem of Luka Somen and Corrado Degl Tocci from Virginia Tech & Defeated opponents from seven nationally ranked programs in singles and six in doubles & Won three straight singles matches to end the season, including two in straight sets at the Sun Belt tournament & Lang/Davis won 10 of their last 11 doubles matches, knocking off competitors from five nationally ranked teams during the streak.
Prior to MT
A two-time national champion in 2009 and 2010 ... Twice played in the 2008 ITF doubles finals, once in Oslo and once in Abu Dhabi, while also appearing the singles finals in Abu Dhabi ... Finished third at the European Doubles Championship in Moscow in 2008 and was a member of the Austrian Junior Davis Cup Team ... U-16 Austrian Champion in singles and doubles in 2007, and also won the U-14 doubles title in 2005 and 2006.
