Middle Tennessee Volleyball Meets North Texas on Friday

DENTON, TX - Middle Tennessee (8-17, 4-8 SBC) volleyball plays their final regular season Sun Belt Conference road game Friday against Western Division foe North Texas (10-13, 5-6 SBC) at 7 p.m. in The Snake Pit.
The Lady Raiders met North Texas for the first time last season. Middle Tennessee defeated the Lady Eagles in Murfreesboro 3-1.
North Texas is led by Corina Marginas who has 453 kills, 280 digs and has recorded 38 service aces. Marginas is averaging 4.62 kills per game.
Middle Tennessee will counter with freshman Shakeithia Deckard who has 382 kills and 219 digs. She is averaging 4.11 digs per game.
After the Lady Raiders meeting with North Texas on Friday, Middle Tennessee will travel to Springfield, MO to compete in the Southwest Missouri Tournament. The team will meet Oklahoma at 7 p.m. on Saturday and then will play Wichita State at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday and end the tournament with a match-up with host SMS at 7 p.m.
