NOSSE STREAK ENDS: Lee Nosse's streak of consecutive games with double figures in scoring ended tonight after 11 games. Nosse last failed to score 10 or more points on Dec. 4 when he netted four points against Rice.
JACKSON GETS CAREER HIGH: Steven Jackson, who got a start against Tennessee, netted a career best eight points against the Vols. Jackson's points came in the first half. He also added a career best two treys to his stat line in the contest.
ONLY ONE LEFT: Only one non-conference game is left for the Blue Raiders this season. The Blue Raiders are set to face IP-Ft. Wayne on Jan. 31 for the final non-league game of the year.
PIPPEN BACK IN FORM: William Pippen looked to be getting his game back against Tennessee. Pippen netted 12 points in the game, marking only the third time in nine games that the Hamburg, Ark., native scored 10 or more points.
BLUE RAIDERS BACK AT HOME: The Sun Belt schedule will resume on Thursday night when Arkansas State visits the Murphy Center. The home stand will continue on Saturday when Arkansas-Little Rock comes calling.
THIS AND THAT: Lee Nosse now stands only 69 points shy of 1,000 in his career - tonight's game marks the first time in the last three meetings that the Vols weren't ranked in the Top 25 - the Blue Raiders are 1-4 all-time against Tennessee - the Blue Raiders have hit at least one trey in 176 straight games.
