MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee men's tennis team travels to Birmingham, Ala, to face UAB at the Highland Racquet Club in the last regular season match for the Blue Raiders.

Middle Tennessee (5-15) has lost five straight this season, with 14 of the team's 15 defeats this season coming to ranked opposition. The Blue Raiders defeated an unranked Blazer team in 2001, 5-2, at the Buck Bouldin Tennis Center in Murfreesboro, and lost to a 24^th-ranked UAB (9-12) team, 5-2, in 2000, in Birmingham.

Sunday will be the last regular-season matches for senior and 20^th-ranked Daniel Klemetz, who needs just three wins to move into second place on the all-time combined wins list at Middle Tennessee.

Both tennis teams will travel to Mobile, Ala., for the Sun Belt Championships April 25-27, hosted by South Alabama at the Lubel Memorial Tennis Courts and the Mobile Tennis Center.
