MT Heads South to Play National Runner-Up Alabama

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee softball team will head to Tuscaloosa, Ala., for a doubleheader with last season's Southeastern Conference Champions and national runner-up Alabama.
The first contest will begin at 2 p.m., with the second game beginning shortly thereafter.
MT's last contest came on Wednesday, falling 2-1 to Trevecca Nazarene at Blue Raider Softball Field. Megan Chocallo got the nod inside the circle while Caitlin McClure and Kelci Cheney also pitched.
Marinna Shadley accounted for the team's lone RBI to go along with two hits, and teammates Morgan Harris and Alma Cortez each tallied a hit.
Tomorrow's contest will mark the final road trip of the fall for the Blue Raiders before concluding fall competition on Friday against Columbia State at Blue Raider Softball Field.
