Women's Golf to tee it up in San Antonio Sunday

Blue Raiders among three C-USA teams in the field
SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Middle Tennessee opens play in the Maryb S. Kauth Invitational Sunday, a new event for the Blue Raiders in 2017-18.
The three-day, 54-hole event, hosted by Conference USA foe UTSA, will take place at the Par 72, 6,450-yard Briggs Ranch Golf Club in San Antonio.
The 14-team field includes a host of talented programs including the top-ranked Arkansas Razorbacks and Top 30 teams Texas Tech (No. 25), Oklahoma (No. 27), Denver (No. 28) and Houston (No. 30).
Middle Tennessee (No. 65) is one of three C-USA programs in the field, including host UTSA (No. 51) and North Texas (No. 112).
Auburn (No. 38), Texas A&M (No. 44), Maryland (No. 57), TCU (No. 70), Kansas State (No. 75) and Texas State (No. 95) will round out the field in San Antonio.
Traveling for the Blue Raiders this week are upperclassmen Hanley Long, Jenna Burris and Cynthia Bounleutay alongside freshmen Sophie Burks and Caroline Caudill.
Following a 10:30 a.m. practice round Saturday, MT's tee times will begin at 11: 00 a.m. on the 10th tee Sunday.
