Schricker scores first career goal
JACKSONVILLE, Ala. – Freshman Madeleine Schricker logged her first career goal for the Blue Raiders Friday night, but it was just a consolation as Middle Tennessee fell 4-1 at Jacksonville State.
After a slow start, the Blue Raiders found themselves down a pair of goals through the first 45 minutes and in need of a spark after the break.
The Gamecocks struck again in the 54th minute but Schricker answered almost immediately to bring MT's deficit back to two. After a few more Blue Raider chances, JSU was able to seal the match in the 81st minute with a fourth goal.
The Blue Raiders didn't give up hope as they logged four more shots with two on goal but were unable to find the back of the net again.
