Blue Raider Softball Announces Upcoming Camps

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee softball team, coming off their 2018 C-USA Championship run, has announced their fall camp dates.
The Blue Raiders will host two separate camps from Sept. 1-2. All camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.
The first camp will be the MTSU Advanced Elite Prospects Camp on Sept. 1. It is open to grades 8-12. Campers must come in with an advanced knowledge base of the game and must be playing on a high-level summer travel team. This is not a beginners or high school instructional camp. The camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and costs $150. It is limited to six players per infield position, 12 outfielders, nine pitchers and six catchers. Players are responsible for their own cleats, glove, bat, helmet, tennis/turf shoes, hat/visor and water bottle. Catchers must bring their own gear as well.
On Sept. 2, the Raiders will host the MTSU Advanced Pitching Camp. It is open to grades 8-12. Campers must come in with an advanced knowledge base of the game and must be playing on a high-level summer travel team. This is not a beginners or high school instructional camp. The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and costs $50. It is limited to 15 pitchers, who must each supply their own catcher. There will be no catcher instruction and catchers must bring their own gear.
The previously scheduled, Sept. 3 camp for grades 4-7 has been cancelled.
Registration for each of the camps will open on Aug. 6 at 8am and close on Aug. 30 at midnight.
