The Middle Tennessee Men's Tennis team will host Austin Peay and Chattanooga to start the 2019 spring season. To welcome students back to campus, Blue Print Solutions and MT Dining will be providing free lunch for the first 225 fans at the Adams Tennis Complex and all fans can enjoy free MT T-Shirts (while supplies last) and a photo booth.
The home opening doubleheader will feature matches at 1pm and 6pm at the ATC. Fans can enjoy a free lunch of hot dogs and chips as they cheer on the Blue Raiders in the first match. During the second match, there will be free MT T-shirts and a free photo booth for fans of all ages.
The Middle Tennessee Men's Tennis team finished the 2018 season with the best final national ranking in the Jimmy Borendame era, as the Blue Raiders came in at No. 43 on the ITA's end-of-the-season rankings. The 2018 campaign boasted a 22-5 record at the end of the season, the most wins for a Middle Tennessee team since 1997. Individually, sophomore Tom Moonen and freshman Chris Edge became the first MT doubles pair to end the season nationally ranked since 2009, as they came in at No. 76 on the ITA's list. In the fall, Gonzalo Morell Raschiatore finished runner-up in the ITA Ohio Valley Regional and earned a bid to the ITA Fall Nationals.
