Round 1 Pairings
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – After a two-week break following the Intercollegiate at The Grove, the Middle Tennessee Men's Golf team is back in action this week at the Little Rock Invitational.
The event, hosted by the Little Rock Trojans, is held at the Par 72, 7,326-yard Chenal Country Club and will feature 15 teams and 87 total golfers with 36 holes to be played Monday and the final 18 scheduled for Tuesday.
"It is good to be back in action this week," Head Coach Mark McEntire said. "Chenal is a fantastic golf course and will be an excellent test for the team this week. Pars will be a great score and we look forward to competing the next 2 days."
After a strong showing as an individual at MT's home event, sophomore Palmer Sadlowski re-enters the lineup in the absence of Michael Barnard, while freshman Steven Haremski makes his first appearance away from The Grove as an individual in Little Rock.
"We have made a lineup change this week," McEntire stayed. "Michael Barnard's grandfather, an MT alumnus, passed away this past week so Michael was unable to make the trip with us."
The remainder of the Blue Raider lineup remains untouched with senior Tanner Owens leading a squad that includes junior Ilari Saulo and freshmen Mattias Varjun and Gavin Clements.
Middle Tennessee tees off on holes four thru six in the 8:15 a.m. shotgun start alongside UT Arlington and Texas State, while Haremski will begin his day on the 16th hole.
Also in the field during the week are Bradley, Campbell, Central Arkansas, Eastern Michigan, Illinois State, Lamar, Missouri State, Oral Roberts, Southern Illinois, Southern Miss and Stephen F. Austin.
Live scoring can be followed at Golfstat.com.
