Lady Raiders Wrap Up Weekend

MURFREESBORO, TN. – The Middle Tennessee Lady Raider tennis team finished the MTSU Tournament on Saturday at the Adams Tennis Complex. The team collected 11 wins on the weekend.
The day started in singles, where the Lady Raiders collected three wins. Lidia Burrows picked up her fourth win of the weekend, knocking off WKU's Morales, 6-1, 6-0. Lee Barnard topped WKU's Friess with a 6-1, 6-4 mark. The third round of singles finished with Zani Barnard edging out Cramer of WKU, 4-6, 6-2, 11-9.
The Lady Raiders rounded out the weekend with two rounds of doubles. Muskan Gupta and Zani Barnard capped off the weekend with a dominate 6-1 win over Cramer/Bernardos of WKU.
The Raiders will return to action October 30-31 at the Chattanooga Fall Invite to finalize the fall schedule.
