Raiders Conclude Dominant Weekend

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Middle Tennessee men's tennis team collected seven match wins on a third consecutive dominant day at the Southern Miss Invite here Sunday.
The Blue Raiders took one of three doubles from Chattanooga to start the final day. Graduate senior Oskar Michalek and junior Francisco Rocha downed Dewald and Hyatt by a score of 6-4.
In singles, the Raiders continued to push, claiming six wins in seven matches to finish the weekend 19-2 overall in singles play.
Rocha continued his hot run and remained undefeated over the weekend pushing his fall singles record to 8-1. He easily dispatched of UTC's Tuner Voges, 6-3, 6-1.
The four of Andreas Kramer, Tom Moonen, Pavel Motl and Sean Presson completed their respective weekends undefeated in singles with each claiming a straight set triumph.
Moonen's victory over UTC's Peyton Gatti, 6-2, 6-2, is the 75th of his career, moving him into sole possession of 11th for career singles wins in program history. He's just four wins behind Raider Gonzalo Morell who sits at 10th.
Max Rauch earned his second win of the event, taking down the Mocs Jeffery Dewald, 6-4, 6-2 for the Raiders final singles victory.
