Lady Raiders to Face Rival WKU on the Road

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee women's basketball team travels to Bowling Green to face rival WKU at E.A. Diddle Arena this weekend.
Middle Tennessee's Friday and Saturday matchup with WKU can be seen on ESPN+. Also, fans are encouraged to tune into the following radio stations to hear the broadcast by Dick Palmer and Duane Hickey WGNS 1450 AM/100.5 FM/101.9 FM/TuneIn App.

About the Lady Raiders
- Middle Tennessee dropped a 69-61 decision to Southern Miss last Saturday to split the weekend series. The loss snapped a seven-game win streak. Anastasia Hayes led the Lady Raiders with 24 points, five rebounds, four assists, and three steals.
- Anastasia Hayes enters the WKU series as the nation's second-leading scorer at 27.9 points per game. She has scored 25-plus points in all but two games this season.
- The Lady Raiders rank 12th nationally and first in C-USA for three-point field goals per game with 9.6 per outing. The three-point attack is fueled by Deja Cage, Aislynn Hayes, and Alexis Whittington. Cage is fourth in C-USA for three-point field goals per game (2.33) and three-point percentage (.345). Hayes ranks sixth (2.33), and Whittington is 10th (1.82) in C-USA in three-pointers made per game.
- Courtney Whitson has been a beast on the boards in her sophomore campaign with double-digit rebounds in five of the nine games, including 15-plus in three. Whitson is fourth in C-USA for rebounding (9.9) and defensive rebounds (6.78), and fifth for offensive rebounds (3.11).
- Middle Tennessee set a program record with just two turnovers against Southern Miss in the first game of their two-game series. The Lady Raiders committed its first turnover, with 6:17 remaining in the fourth quarter. The previous mark for the fewest turnovers in a game was four.

- The Lady Raiders lead the series, 35-31.
