Blue Raiders Heading Back to Nashville for Vanderbilt Invitational

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Blue Raiders are returning to Nashville for the Vanderbilt Invitational this Friday, January 21, and Saturday, January 15.
Last Time Out
The Blue Raiders took six first place finishes during last weekend's meet in Nashville, two of which came on Friday and four came on Saturday.
From the jump, Omamuyovwi Erhire was in a league of his own during the men's triple jump, taking first with a new personal best of 15.69m. As an unattached, Abigail Kwarteng continued to dominate, taking first place in the women's triple jump with a personal-best 12.87m a day after taking the women's high jump by storm.
Lyn'Nikka Vance continued off her great start from day one, setting a new personal best in the 60m prelims with a time of 7.48. In the women's 60m final Vance fell behind and came in fifth place with a time of 7.55. Vance ended with three personal bests over the weekend.
In the women's 400m, Glory Nyenke was neck and neck with a runner from South Florida but came up clutch at the end taking first with an indoor meet personal best of 55.80.
The last runner of the day for the Blue Raiders was Eusila Chepkemei and per usual, she delivered. Chepkemei led all 3000 meters of the race by a large margin, finishing with a personal best time of 9:32.56. Chepkemei's time was less than four seconds short of the Blue Raider's indoor record.
Meet Information
The Meet start's Friday with the men's heptathlon kicking off at 11:00 a.m. and then the day ends with the 1000m run at 7:50 p.m. Saturday, men's heptathlon continues at 10:00 a.m. and the meet continue to till the last event which I scheduled to be 4x400m at 4:30 p.m.
