Middle Tennessee Travels to Knoxville for Tennessee Invitational

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee track and field will travel to Knoxville to compete in the Tennessee Invitational from Friday, April 10, through Saturday, April 11.

The Blue Raiders competing in the invitational include Joel Iheakolam, Juan Lucas De La Fuente, Michael Mendonca, Hailee Gorham, Laura Odivwri, Laila Rudolph, Viktoria Rusnakova, Tamia Waters, Ross Evans, Abraham Valenzuela, Privillege Chikara, Lauren Cole, Emma Thomas, Xarya Udoumana, Courtney Green, James Thomas Jr., Jamaree Jenkins, Elijah Northcross, Jason Smallwood, Devin Walker, Emma Benzinger, Devaun Butler, Zenade October, Evans Kiptoo, Chidinma Agu, Arianna Thomas, Mariah Ivery, Emerson Brinkmeier, Laila Williams, Evan Tomlinson, Gabe Allen, Jonathan Harris, Mustapha Bokpin, Ella Miller and Viviana Salonia.
Bokpin was named Conference USA Men's Track Athlete of the Week after posting a personal-best time of 20.81 in the men's 200 meters, finishing third in his heat and fifth overall. He followed with another personal-best performance in the men's 100 meters, placing third with a time of 10.14.
Last Time at the Tennessee Invitational
Faith Nyathi opened the meet for Middle Tennessee with a second-place finish in the women's 1,500 meters. Green highlighted a series of personal bests, clocking a 24.01 in the women's 200 meters. Udoumana also reached a personal best, running a 12.09 in the women's 100 meters.
