Middle Tennessee Falls to UTSA

SAN ANTONIO – The Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders conceded inside 15 minutes to the UTSA Roadrunners on Thursday night and would not again be level with its Conference USA foe at Park West Athletics Complex, as they fell 4-0 on the road.
Roadrunner forward Avery Chaney would open the scoring in the 14' on a strike from the middle of the 18-yard box. Alissa Stewart made it 2-0 in the 21' with a left-footed shot before Chaney clinched a brace in the 25' to make it 3-0 before halftime. Kiran Singh would then extend the 'Runner lead with a goal in the '52.
Megan Carroll and Eleanor Gough both logged shots for the Blue Raiders, while goalkeeper Hannah Suder made a pair of saves.

2: Including Thursday's fixture, the Raiders play two matches on this road trip, with both opponents in the State of Texas.
