No. 30 Middle Tennessee Heads to Blue Gray Championships

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – One week after taking down No. 24 Auburn and Michigan State, the Blue Raiders head to Alabama to participate in the 74th Annual Blue Gray National Tennis Classic on Friday, Feb. 25 and Saturday, Feb. 26 at the Lagoon Park Tennis Complex.
No. 30 Middle Tennessee (11-3, 1-0) drew No. 48 Tulane (3-4) to open the tournament, this dual match will take place on Friday, Feb. 25 at 11:30 a.m. CT.
To cap off the first day of competition, MT will begin its second match against either No. 19 Arizona (11-2) or Alabama (3-6) and will compete in doubles only.
On Saturday, the Blue Raiders will wrap up their second match by competing in singles against the Wildcats or the Crimson Tide from the day before. To round up the tournament, MT will take on an opponent from the other side of the bracket for a full dual match on Saturday afternoon.
The 2022 field for the Blue Gray National Tennis Classic consists of No. 19 Arizona, No. 25 Auburn, No. 29 Princeton, No. 30 Middle Tennessee, No. 48 Tulane, No. 66 Nebraska, Alabama, and VCU.
