MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee men's tennis earns its fifth Top 25 recruiting class in program history this offseason, coming in at No. 23 voted on by TennisRecruiting.net for 2022-23.
The Blue Raiders also obtain the No. 3 recruiting class amongst the college tennis "Mid-Major" programs, only behind San Diego and Pepperdine. Monday's nod is the third highest finish amongst the "Mid-major" institutions in program history.
Head coach Jimmy Borendame and Assistant coach Andrea Caligiana have been vigilant this season, navigating in the ever-so-changing college athletics landscape en-route to finding future Blue Raiders.
"There's a lot of good coaches out there and recruiting is getting very competitive nowadays," said Caligiana. "In my opinion, connections and relationships are two super relevant factors in today's college recruiting landscape. We had some connections to Shu and Ondrej, they came highly recommended from those individuals."
