Men’s tennis competes in day two of the TOPS’L Battle at the Beach

DESTIN, Fla. — Middle Tennessee men's tennis competed in day two of the TOPS'L Battle at the Beach as they took on Florida State and Georgia State.
In doubles, MTSU played against Florida State. The Seminoles' squad finished the 2021-22 season at No. 22. Ondrej Horak and Marcel Kamrowski played a very close match against the Semonioles duo of Joshua Dous-Karpenschif and Maks Silagy. FSU took both doubles wins.
In singles, the Blue Raiders faced Georgia State. The Panthers' program would be the second ranked opponent the Blue Raider faced on Saturday.
MTSU split with Georgia State between the four singles matches. Pavel Motl defeated Georgia State's Gabriele Datei 6-1, 7-6 (5). Horak picked up his second collegiate win in as many days 6-4, 6-2 over Edward Tymes of Georgia State. Shu Matsuoka and Kamrowski fell in their respective single matches.
