Blue Raiders to play three home games this weekend

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee softball team will have a full slate of three home games this weekend at Blue Raider Softball Field as the fall exhibition schedule continues.
Snead State will travel to Murfreesboro for a 4 p.m. first pitch on Friday from Boaz, Ala. The following day MTSU will host Trevecca with first pitch set for 2 p.m. Closing out the weekend, Walters State will make the trip from Sevierville, Tenn. for the weekend finale starting at 2 p.m.
Following this weekend's games, the Blue Raiders will have just two games remaining this fall season in Starkville, Miss. taking on Pearl River and Mississippi State on October 14.
Julia Garcia is off to a hot start offensively this fall with four doubles and six RBI through two games. In the circle, Mary Martinez has yet to give up a run as a Blue Raider in her four innings of work.

Freshman Jesyne Espinal made her first start against Lipscomb last week going three innings in the 5-4 win.
