Blue Raiders ranked No. 21 by the ITA

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — After the last two weeks of receiving votes, Middle Tennessee men's tennis is back in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings at No. 21. This ranking is a coaches' poll and is sponsored by Tennis-Point.
"Thanks to the coaches that vote for this ranking," said MTSU head coach Jimmy Borendame. "I appreciate the respect. However, the only ranking I ever pay attention to is the final ranking. We have more work to do to improve."
The Blue Raiders started the season off ranked at No. 25. MTSU is coming off a ranked win, 4-2, against No. 19 Duke at the ITA Kickoff Weekend in Winston-Salem, N.C.
The Blue Raiders are in action this weekend playing USF on Friday, Feb. 3 at 5 p.m. CT. On Sunday, there will be a double header with Princeton at 12 p.m. CT and Alabama A&M at 4 p.m. CT. Admission is free at all MTSU tennis home matches this season.
