Men’s tennis ready for an action-packed weekend at the ATC

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Coming off their third-straight sweep, the No. 21-ranked Middle Tennessee men's tennis opens play this weekend against Oklahoma State on Friday, Feb. 17 at 5 p.m. CT at the Adams Tennis Complex.
On Sunday, Feb. 19, the Blue Raiders host a doubleheader. The first match is against SMU at 12 p.m. CT and the second match is against Austin Peay at 4:00 p.m. CT.
MTSU tallied two wins last weekend. On Friday, the Blue Raiders blank conference foe Rice 7-0. On Sunday, MTSU traveled to Virginia Tech and picked up a 4-0 victory. MTSU is on a five-match win streak and have swept their opponents in the last three matches.
Stijn Slump is the reigning Conference USA Athlete of the Week. Slump is coming off two undefeated weekends in a row. The doubles pairing of Pavel Motl and Slump are 7-1 this season. Freshman Ondrej Horak has continued his impressive singles play with a 9-0 record so far this season.
As a team, MTSU is 41-12 in singles and 17-7 in doubles.
