Coach Borendame hosting ITA Tennis-Point Summer Circuit

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee men's tennis head coach Jimmy Borendame has announced that he will host an Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Tennis-Point Summer Circuit at the Adams Tennis Complex in Murfreesboro, Tenn. on July 15-17.
The event is open to anyone as long as he or she is a current ITA player member. The circuit is a great chance to strengthen your World Tennis Rating and get competitive match play during the summer. The current price for a 2023 ITA Player Membership is $35.

The entry fee for the circuit is $70 plus processing fees and includes just singles play.
The tournament is a Men's Open Singles and Women's Open Singles Draws only. Matches will be played outdoors at the Adams Tennis Complex. There are 24 outdoor courts. All efforts will be made to play this event over 2 days outdoors. The third day is a rain day to be used if needed. Most likely, the event will be draws of 16 broken up by WTN. The weather is usually extremely hot thus we are not playing doubles due to the long days and matches.
Each player will be guaranteed 2 singles matches. Format is 2 out of 3 sets with 10-point tiebreaker for the third with No-Ad scoring and No let rule in place. No Coaching allowed. Registration closes on July 9.
