Maynard moves into first place, Manley fifth as Blue Raiders take sole possession of second

MOBILE, Ala. - Kendall Maynard moved into first place individually Sunday at the USA Intercollegiate with her second straight round of 69 (-3). The transfer from Belmont helped Middle Tennessee to take sole possession of second place heading into the third and final round. Ella Manley entered the top five, and Abbie Lee moved into a tie for eighth on the individual leaderboard.
The Blue Raiders recorded their second consecutive round of 290 (+2), edging ahead of Jacksonville State to break the tie the two teams had entered the day in.
Maynard, in her first tournament as a Blue Raider, picked up five birdies in the second round, including three straight from holes 5-7. She holds a one-stroke lead at 138 (-4) heading into Monday's play.
Manley did one better than her first-round score, carding a 70 (-2) Sunday. She moved into fifth place at 141 (-3) in the first tournament of her collegiate career.
Playing as an individual, Lee shot a 71 (-1), moving up from 16th to a tie for eighth Sunday.
Molly Bebelaar carded a 74 (+2) for the second straight round and is tied for 20th at 148 (+4). Lanie Campbell is tied for 38th at 153 (+9) after a 77 (+5) in the second round.
Jillian Bowman, also making her NCAA debut, rounds out the Blue Raider lineup in 49th place at 157 (+13).`

"Another solid round by the team with three girls under par. We just need another great round tomorrow to stay in contention. Also great to have three in the top eight, including Kendall at the top of the leaderboard. We'll have to go out and play smart and finish strong."
