» This marks the first meeting in series history between the Middle Tennessee Lady Raiders and Sam Houston Bearkats.

» The Lady Raiders are coming off of a 64-61 overtime win over the Lady Techsters. This marked the first overtime game of the year for MTSU.
» Savannah Wheeler graduated this December with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Integrated Studies and plans to pursue another degree in Health and Human Performance.
» With a pair of triples against GCU, Wheeler became just the 16th player in CUSA history to eclipse 200 career made three-point field goals.
» Entering today's game, Wheeler is 22 free throws away from becoming the Conference USA all-time leader in career free throws made.
» Wheeler is also one-point away from cracking the top-10 in all-time CUSA scoring leaders.
» Entering today's game, Courtney Whitson is four made three-point field goals away from becoming the all-time record holder at Middle Tennessee.
» Anastasiia Boldyreva currently leads the league and ranks fifth in the country in blocks with 48.
» Jalynn Gregory is 30 points away from becoming the 34th Lady Raider to eclipse 1,000 career points.
» Gregory currently ranks second in the league and ranks in the top-75 in the country in 3-pointers with 34. She is also 10 made three-pointers away from eclipsing 200 career made three-point field goals.
» Middle Tennessee became just the 25th school in NCAA Division I women's basketball history and the third in Conference USA to reach 1,000 program wins on Thursday, Nov. 9 when the Lady Raiders defeated the Florida A&M Rattlers 93-48.
» The 2023-24 roster boasts seven international players: Jada Grannum (Canada); Dora Van Rijs (Hungary); Anastasiia Boldyreva, Iullia Grabovskaia and Stanislava Kabernick (Russia); Sifa Ineza (Rwanda); Zahira Arizmendi (Spain). Entering this season the Lady Raiders have only had 10 international players in program history.
» Head Coach Rick Insell has led the Lady Raiders to 17 consecutive post-seasons. He has tallied a 444-155 record at his alma mater.

» Diana Rosenthal leads Sam Houston in scoring at 12.2 points per game, one of three players averaging double figures.
» Raanee Smith leads the Bearkats in rebounding with 9.9 rebounds per game.
» Sam Houston ranks second in the country in offensive rebounds per game with 18.8.
» The Bearkats ranks third in the nation in free throw made per game (17.7) and free throw attempts per game (26.7).
