MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee is set for its first Conference USA matchup with NM State at the Murphy Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. CT. The game will air on the Blue Raider Network and broadcast on ESPN+.

SERIES HISTORY
» This marks the sixth meeting in series history between the Middle Tennessee Lady Raiders and NM State Aggies.
» The Lady Raiders and Aggies met every year from 2001-2005, with three game being played in Las Cruces, N.M. and two in Murfreesboro.
» MTSU won the last meeting between the Lady Raiders and Aggies, 65-41 on Jan. 29, 2005.
LADY RAIDER NOTES
» Savannah Wheeler graduated this December with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Integrated Studies and plans to pursue another degree in Health and Human Performance.
» With a pair of triples against GCU, Wheeler became just the 16th player in CUSA history to eclipse 200 career made three-point field goals.
» With four three-point field goals against Sam Houston, Courtney Whitson became the all-time record holder at Middle Tennessee with 260.
» The Lady Raiders are coming off an 81-70 home win over UTEP, where five players scored in double-figures.
» With 18 points against the Miners, Wheeler became the 10th player in Conference USA history to eclipse 2,000 career points.
» Entering today's game, Wheeler is 13 free throws away from becoming the CUSA all-time leader in career free throws made.
» Junior center Anastasiia Boldyreva was named the Ann Meyers Drysdale USBWA National Player of the Week, Conference USA Player of the Week, and TSWA Player of the Week. The
junior posted back-to-back double-doubles, shooting 73.3 percent from the field on the week, to go along with 22 rebounds and six blocks. She currently ranks fifth in the nation and leads the league in blocks with 50.
» Boldyreva joins Ebony Rowe and Cheyenne Parker as the only Lady Raiders to earn National, Conference and Tennessee Player of the Week awards in the same week.
» Jalynn Gregory is three points away from becoming the 34th Lady Raider to eclipse 1,000 career points.
» Middle Tennessee became just the 25th school in NCAA Division I women's basketball history and the third in Conference USA to reach 1,000 program wins on Thursday, Nov. 9 when the Lady Raiders defeated the Florida A&M Rattlers 93-48.
» The 2023-24 roster boasts seven international players: Jada Grannum (Canada); Dora Van Rijs (Hungary); Anastasiia Boldyreva, Iullia Grabovskaia and Stanislava Kabernick (Russia); Sifa Ineza (Rwanda); Zahira Arizmendi Rubio (Spain). Entering this season the Lady Raiders have only had 10 international players in program history.
» Head Coach Rick Insell has led the Lady Raiders to 17 consecutive post-seasons. He has tallied a 446-155 record at his alma mater.
SCOUTING THE AGGIES
» NM State is coming off of its first ever CUSA win. The Aggies defeated WKU 50-44 in Bowling Green, Kentucky on Thursday, Jan. 18.
» Molly Kaiser leads NM State in scoring at 14.6 points per game, the only player averaging double figures.
» Ene Adams leads the Aggies in rebounding (5.4) and field goal percentage (51.3 percent).
» The Aggies have four player shooting over 35 percent from beyond the arc, with Tylie Jones leading the way at 53.8 percent.
