Men's Tennis Hosts Buck Bouldin Fall Classic

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Less than a week removed from Karim Al-Amin and Ondrej Horak's doubles title at the ITA Ohio Valley Regionals, the Middle Tennessee men's tennis team is back at home this weekend on Oct. 18-20 for the Buck Bouldin Fall Classic for its final home event of the fall season.
The Blue Raiders took home the top prize at the ITA Regionals in Indiana, as well as Al-Amin's third-place finish in the singles bracket following a straight-sets win over Tennessee's Alejandro Moreno to close out the tournament in West Lafayette.
This weekend, Middle Tennessee welcomes Virginia Tech, ETSU and Tennessee Tech to Murfreesboro for the three-day event.
Rostislav Halfinger, Shu Matsuoka, Igor Mandou Berranger and Kristian Thomas will feature for the Blue Raiders this weekend's tournament.
On each day of play, both matches will be played simultaneously, starting with doubles and followed by singles.
Match play will start tomorrow at 12 P.M. at the MTSU Outdoor Tennis Facility with Middle Tennessee facing Virginia Tech.
