Blue Raiders Earn Another Top-10 Finish at Mercedes-Benz Collegiate

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee women's golf program wrapped up its fall slate of tournaments with another top-10 finish at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Tuesday afternoon. The Blue Raiders remained steady at seventh place throughout the competition, finishing with an 889 (+37) overall.
Kendall Maynard earned her third top-15 finish of the season in Knoxville, finishing at T14. She carded a 71 (E) in the final round to complete the tournament at 217 (+4). A relatively clean final round featuring three birdies saw her finish in the top 15 for a team-leading third time so far. The senior has already bested her two top 15 finished from last season.
Lanie Campbell finished second lowest for the Blue Raiders, carding her lowest round of the tournament on the final day. The junior finished one over par to sit at T26 in the individual competition, her second-best finish of the season. She sunk in another two birdies to put her at 46 for the fall season, the most by any Blue Raider.
Also earning her second-best finish of the season was Nicole Johnson, who placed T34 in the tournament. A difficult first nine holes saw the sophomore turn in a 76 (+5) on the final day of competition, while finishing at 224 (+11).
Ella Manley jumped up another six places on the player leaderboard to finish at T44 overall. She carded her best round of the tournament on day three, a 75 (+4) featuring four birdies, which saw her finish at 228 (+15) through 54 holes.
Jillian Bowman earned her best finish as an individual this season, placing T52 overall. She turned in a 77 (+5) on her scorecard with another birdie on the day, finishing the tournament at 231 (+18).
Abbie Lee bested her round two score by five strokes on her final round, but was unable to find consistency on her final nine holes of the day, with just four holes at or below par on the front nine, ending the day at 77 (+6) and 233 (+20) overall to place at T58.
