Blue Raiders Win Second Straight, Defeat Kennesaw State 4-2

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. –The Middle Tennessee women's soccer team (6-7-0, 3-2-0 CUSA) continued its latest three-match homestand today with a 4-2 win over the Kennesaw State Owls (2-7-4, 1-1-3 CUSA) at Dean A. Hayes Track and Soccer Stadium.
With the win today, the Blue Raiders have won three of their last four dating back to Sept. 26 with wins over UTEP, Jacksonville State and now Kennesaw State.
Middle Tennessee moves up to third in the Conference USA standings by adding three more points, improving their total to nine.
Two Blue Raiders scored their first career goals today in Kadence Krempges and Faith Adje, with Manon Lebargy and Lexi Dendis supplying the other two.
Lebargy's goal opened the scoring with her ninth goal of the 2024 season in the 33rd minute to give MTSU a 1-0 advantage.
Krempges' first career goal doubled the Blue Raider lead in the 37th minute, coming off the assist from Adje.
MTSU would control a 2-0 lead going into the halftime break, after controlling most of the opening half of play.
Dendis would open the scoring account of the second half with her third goal of the season in the 50th minute.
Kennesaw State would get one back 15 minutes later in the 60th minute with a goal by Tianna Rivera to bring the scoreline to 3-1 with a half hour left to play.
Adje would add her first career goal in the 69th minute, and Rivera would add her second goal of the day less than a minute later as the two sides would trade scores in the late stages of the match.
The full-time whistle would blow with Middle Tennessee leading 4-2 for their six overall win this season and their third in conference play.

The Blue Raiders came away with four goals today on a season-high 19 total attempts, including seven on frame. Lebargy, Krempges, Dendis and Adje were the goalscorers today, while Kvaale, Murphy, Adje and Arasaki supplied the assists. Gronauer extended her conference lead in saves with five more today, improving her season total to 62.
