ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Middle Tennessee heads west to take on 13th ranked Kansas State in the Second Annual Bill Snyder Classic presented by Southern Bank at the St. Joseph Civic Arena. Tipoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. CT. The game will air on the Blue Raider Network and broadcast on ESPN+.

SERIES HISTORY
» This will mark the fourth meeting in series history between the Blue Raiders and Wildacats.
» K-State leads the series between the schools, 2-1, however, this marks Head Coach Jeff Mittie's first time facing off against Middle Tennessee.
» MTSU won the previous meeting 63-49 in the UTSA Holiday Classis in San Antonio, Texas.

» Middle Tennessee will take on Kansas State in the second annual Bill Snyder Women's Basketball Classic presented by Southern Bank on Saturday, Dec. 14, at 5 p.m. (CT) at St. Joseph Civic Arena.
» Middle Tennessee is 17-27 all-time against teams in the current Big 12, with its last win coming against Houston on the road 70-45 on Nov. 29, 2023.
» The Blue Raiders are coming off a 52-65 road loss to Belmont. MTSU was led by Jalynn Gregory and Ta'mia Scott who each posted 15 points.
» MTSU has enjoyed great success on neutral courts Head Coach Rick Insell. The Blue Raiders are 119-77 (60.7 percent) overall and 56-25 under Coach Insell, for a 69.1 percent winning ledger.
» The Blue Raiders return 10 players, including three starters, from the 2023-24 squad that went 30-5 and won the CUSA regular season and tournament titles and advanced to the Round of 32 of the NCAA Tournament.
» Middle Tennessee will play a tough non-conference slate highlighted neutral sites matchups with Iowa State, Kansas State and Purdue, and a trip down I-40 to take on the Tennessee Lady Vols. The Blue Raiders will face eight teams that finished in the top 150 of the NET Rankings last season, including seven that finished in the top 100 and four that finished in the top 40 before heading into league play.
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
» 200 for Mittie: K-State head coach Jeff Mittie collected the 200th win of his K-State tenure at Texas A&M on Dec. 8. Mittie joins Deb Patterson (350) and Judy Akers (206) as the only K-State coaches to win 200 or more games with the Wildcats.
» League Leaders: K-State leads the Big 12 in seven categories: scoring offense (88.5 ppg), scoring margin (+38.18), field goal percentage (.514), field goal percentage defense (.316), assists per game (23.36), assist/turnover ratio (1.98), defensive rebounds per game (32.36) and defensive rebound percentage (.777).
» Assistance Available: K-State leads the Big 12 and is second in the nation for assists per game (23.4). The Wildcats have registered an assist on 68.2 percent of its made field goals this season, which ranks 11th in the nation.
» Sides Hustle: Sophomore guard Taryn Sides has been on a hot streak from beyond the arc over the last five games, as she is shooting .686 (24-of-35) from long range. Sides has already established a career season-high for 3-point field goals made this season (33).
» Glenn Closing in on 1K Club: With 38 points, senior guard Jaelyn Glenn would become the 46th player in program history to score 1,000 or more points during their time at K-State. Glenn would join current teammates Ayoka Lee (2,336 pts) and Serena Sundell (1,390 pts) on the list. When Glenn reaches the mark, she would be the fourth active player on the roster with 1,000 or more career points with Lee, Sundell and Temira Poindexter (1,673 pts; 1,560 at Tulsa).
» The Wildcats are 15-13 against current members of CUSA.
