Thoughts from Head Coach Rick Insell
"I thought our defense was pretty good. I hadn't even seen what we shot yet. Forty-five percent? I thought we could've shot a little better, we missed some chip shots. Overall, I'm pretty proud of our basketball team. We lost our head a little bit there late when we got a technical. You just can't do that, you can't get caught up into that kind of stuff. But real proud of our basketball team.
"I think (WKU) were on the their heels wondering if they could play with us. They just got beat by Sam Houston. So in their minds, they were probably wondering if they could play with us. And we were able to get out (to a lead), then they kind of got a little mad and got to playing better."
Player's Perspective – Ta'Mia Scott
"I just knew that we had to throw all the records out when it came to this game. I knew our crowd was going to be in it with us. We just needed to show them what we could do."
