Men’s tennis heads to the Columbia Regional for the 2025 ITA Kickoff Weekend

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee men's tennis received the No. 3-seed in the Columbia Regional in New York, N.Y. on Jan. 25-26, 2025 at the ITA Kickoff Weekend.
"Heading to NYC will be exciting for the team," said MTSU Head Coach Jimmy Borendame. "The regional is strong top to bottom with Columbia, Florida and Miami. These will be great tests early in the season for us."
The annual ITA Kickoff Weekend features 15 regionals played on both men's and women's side with four teams competing in each regional. The winners of the single-elimination event advance to the ITA Division I National Team Indoor Championships.
The four teams competing in the regional are 1-seed Columbia, 2-seed Florida, 3-seed Middle Tennessee and 4-seed Miami.
