Men's Tennis Kicks Off Fall Season with Blue Raider Invite

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee men's tennis program is set for the official start of the 2024 fall campaign, as the Blue Raiders host the first-ever Blue Raider Invite on Sept. 13-15 at the MTSU Outdoor Tennis Facility.
The Blue Raiders welcome Indiana, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Lipscomb and Tennessee Tech to Murfreesboro this weekend for the fall season kickoff.
Middle Tennessee faced the Indiana Hoosiers a season ago and were also scheduled to face Vanderbilt in early April, but the match was canceled due to inclement weather.
Rostislav Halfinger, Jakub Kroslak, Igor Mandou Berranger, Shu Matsuoka and Kristian Thomas will be the six Blue Raiders competing in this weekend's invite.

"We are all looking forward to starting the fall season off. It's been great to be able to host and play in the confines of the new outdoor complex and the Adams Tennis Complex pending weather. Plus, we are excited for the pickleball event and rivalry football game versus that team up north on Saturday."

Doubles will be followed by singles. The schedule for the tournament is as follows:
