Women's Golf Completes Second Round of Mason Rudolph

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee women's golf team is through two rounds at the Mason Rudolph Championship at the Vanderbilt Legends Club. The Blue Raiders sit at T15 after shooting 299 (+11) on the day for a 591 (+15) overall team score.
Ella Manley remains the lowest Blue Raider on the course, placing at T43 (145) after the second round. She had a difficult first nine, but played her final nine all at par, to finish the second round at 76 (+4).
Abbie Lee sits behind her at T61 (148). She also struggled on her front nine, but shot her back nine at even, carding two birdies to turn in a 75 (+3) on the day.
Lanie Campbell posted a 78 (+6) in her second round, while firing in a team-leading four birdies to sit tied for 68th at 149 on the tournament.
Nicole Johnson carded her best round of the weekend so far with a one-over-par round, including two birdies, one on each nine. She'll enter the third round at T80 with a combined 153 (+9).
Kendall Maynard found herself unable to bounce back from round one's results, finishing at 78 (+6) after the second 18 holes. She carded a birdie but finished T82 (154) heading into the final round.

- Sara Im of Vanderbilt, Patience Rhodes of Arizona State, Carolina Melgrati of Arizona, Louise Reau of Georgia Southern and Avery Weed of Mississippi State all sit tied for the player lead at 135 (-9) throughout the contest.
- The final round kicks off tomorrow morning, with the first Middle Tennessee player teeing off at 9:35 a.m. on hole 10.
