 - Also finished her career in the top 10 for batting average (9th, .333), runs scored (2nd, 144), doubles (8th, 35), triples (tied-5th, 6), total bases (2nd, 320), stolen bases (7th, 50), and stolen bases attempted (tied-6th, 62)
 - Entered the program’s single game records with six at bats (tied-2nd) vs. Western Illinois on March 20, three runs scored (tied-10th) vs. Marshall on April 10, four hits (tied-3rd) vs. Western Illinois on March 20, two doubles (tied-1st) vs. Western Illinois on March 20 and at Murray State on March 30, and two sacrifice hits (tied-2nd) vs. Missouri on February 26
 - Led her team in at bats (162), runs scored (28), doubles (11), and assists (111) while also tying for the team lead in triples (3) in 2021
 - Also placed second on her team in her final season in hits (49), total bases (69), on base percentage (.369), and stolen bases (13-for-15)
 - She was in the top 10 in Conference USA in the following categories: hits, doubles, triples, at bats, stolen bases, and assists
 - Was named C-USA’s Hitter of the Week on March 8 after leading her team in hits (9), runs (5), triples (2), total bases (15) and slugging percentage (.682) at the dish while also sporting a .409 batting average and a 4-for-4 mark in stolen base attempts at The Spring Games
 - Matched her career high in hits with a 4-for-4 performance against Western Illinois (March 20), which also included two doubles and two runs scored
 - Hit her first career home run as a slapper at Charlotte to open C-USA play (April 1)
 - Tied her career record for runs scored in a game when she touched home three times vs. Marshall (April 10) in a 3-for-4 day at the plate with a triple
 - Ended games with plays in the field against Marshall (April 11) and Western Kentucky (April 16)
 - Also was part of ending games on the offensive side, as she was at the plate for MT’s walk-off win over Dayton (March 12) and was the game-winning run in a 3-2 walk-off over Western Illinois (March 20)
 - Listed on C-USA’s Preseason Team and proceeded to end the year on the All-C-USA First Team
 - Earned a spot on the Commissioner’s Honor Roll and took home a C-USA Academic Medal in her final season as a Blue Raider

- Was one of five Blue Raiders to start all 28 games of the shortened season in her fourth campaign in Murfreesboro
 - Led her team in at bats with 93, all from the leadoff spot in the starting lineup

 - Her 31 hits were the second most on her team and tied for seventh most in C-USA
 - Notched the most doubles of any Blue Raider (6) and was second on the team in stolen bases (10-for-12)
 - Defensively, Burgess finished the season third on her team and ninth in C-USA in assists (43)
 - Already a legend in Murfreesboro, Burgess moved into the top five in career at bats, runs scored, hits, singles, walks, and assists; she also is in the top 10 for total bases, on base percentage and stolen bases
 - Her 3-for-4 day against Mercer (Feb. 16) included two runs scored and a program-tying mark of two doubles
 - The leadoff hitter’s best performance of 2020 was against Sacred Heart (March 1), when she recorded a 2-for-3 day with four RBIs, two walks and a run scored
 - Her 10-game streak of reaching base safely was tied for the second best such streak of any MT player, and her 10 multi-hit games led all Blue Raiders
 - Scored two runs in games against Mercer (Feb. 16), Nicholls State (Feb. 22) and Miami (OH) (Feb. 29)

- Burgess started all 59 games at shortstop, making it the second season in a row where she was the only player on the team to start every game
 - Led the team in at bats (203), batting average (.340), hits (69), runs scored (30), and assists (106)
 - Ranked among the top in C-USA in hits (69, second), at bats (203, first), and total plate appearances (226, second)
 - Went 69-for-203 with 30 runs, five doubles, one triple, 15 RBI, 18 walks, and six stolen bases at the top of the Raider order
 - Recorded a .374 slugging percentage, a .399 on base percentage, and a .960 fielding percentage
 - Moved into the fifth spot on the Middle Tennessee career hits list with 190 hits in three seasons
 - Began the season with seven hits in eight at bats against Valparaiso and No. 24 Mississippi State in the Bulldog Kickoff Classic (2/8-10)
 - Had a team high 21 multi-hit games
 - Picked up eight hits, one double two RBI, and scored three runs in the Madeira Beach College Invitational (2/22-24)
 - Went 3-for-4, scored two runs and drove in one RBI in the home opener against Austin Peay (2/27)

 - Ranked among the top in C-USA in batting average (.366, sixth), runs scored (40, 10th), on base percentage (.434, 10th), stolen bases (20, seventh) and at bats (202, second)
 - Went 74-for-202 with 40 runs, six doubles, 17 RBI, 24 walks, and 20 stolen bases out of the leadoff spot
 - Posted a .396 slugging percentage, a.434 on base percentage and a .906 fielding percentage
 - Started off the season with an eight-game hitting streak, six being multi-hit performances
 - Went 10-for-21 with a run, an RBI and two doubles in six games at the Stacy Winsberg Memorial Tournament (2/09-11)
