WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Middle Tennessee (11-9, 1-0) dominated William and Mary 5-1 on Sunday morning as they wrapped up a successful weekend in Virginia before they return home to Adams Tennis Complex for a doubleheader on March 30.

Gonzalo Morell and Pavel Motl took an early 4-2 lead on court three, and they never looked back securing the win at 6-2. After falling against VCU Saturday, the No. 52 duo Tom Moonen and Chris Edge redeemed themselves in a tiebreaker clincher 7-6 (7-2) to earn first point of the match. Max Rauch and Francisco Rocha were left unfinished but led 6-5.

Heading into singles up 1-0, the Blue Raiders did not let up on the gas pedal. Chris Edge was first off the courts as he won in dominate fashion taking the match in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4. Freshman Stijn Slump finished his match with ease in straight sets.

Leading 3-0, William & Mary collected their first point on court four in straight sets. But before things got out of hand, Pavel Motl grinded out the clincher in a three set barnburner 4-6, 6-3, 6-3. Tom Moonen also played in a three setter earning the Blue Raiders fifth and final point. Gonzalo Morell was left unfinished.
