About the Blue Raiders
» The Blue Raiders are looking to jumpstart the offense and get momentum back before hosting the MTSU Invitational next weekend.
» Jocelynn De La Cruz and Amaya Harris were named to the All-Tournament Team at the South Alabama Classic last weekend. That tournament marked the first five starts in Harris's career.
» Graduate student first baseman Lexi Cushing and freshman catcher Makenzie Hutchinson slugged the Blue Raiders' first two homers in MT's 7-6 win over SIU Edwardsville to kick off the South Alabama Classic. Hutchinson's round-tripper came in the bottom of the 10th inning to give her team a walk-off win.
» The Blue Raiders gave up 18 of the 24 runs scored against them with two outs at the South Alabama Classic.
» Summer Burgess and De La Cruz both have seven hits through eight games to lead the Blue Raiders.
» Cushing has accumulated 314 total bases throughout her career, and one more would give her sole possession of the program's record.
All-time vs. The Spring Games field
» MT holds a 2-0 advantage in the all-time series over Stetson, though both games between the two programs were in the 1990s.
» After MT won the first ever meeting against Toledo, the Rockets won a 4-3 affair in 2014 to even the series.
» The Blue Raiders won a 4-2 decision against Florida Gulf Coast in 2016, the only prior meeting between the two teams.
» MT now leads 22-6 all-time over New Mexico State after a 3-0 win to start the 2021 season.
» In 2010, the Blue Raiders defeated Central Michigan by a score of 3-2 in the first and only game involving those programs.
» Sunday's meeting between Middle Tennessee and North Dakota will be the first.
